Oldest Olympic Distance
Triathlon in the southwest. 1500 meter open water swim (no
wetsuits), mostly flat and fast 40 km bike and 10 km run on
the infamous "Dirt Road from Hell". Great beginner event with
plenty of amenities including a special 21th Anniversary "Dri-Fit
T-shirt". USA Triathlon sanctioned. Absolutely NO REFUNDS
or TRANSFERS.

For 21 years this race has set the standard. This is
one of the really true pioneer Triathlons, a throw back to
the 1980's, this race exhibits the real spirit of what Triathlon
is all about. Here's your chance to do what is arguably the
best Triathlon in Texas. Safe swim in the clean & current
free Concho River. Cycle on very lightly traveled and well
paved county roads and run on the infamous "Dirt Road from
Hell" which is totally closed to traffic. Hot days and cool
nights. Absolutely NO Wetsuits. Water temp is always 82 degrees
or more. Consistently selected as one of the top 50 events
in North America.
Waiver and Release
USAT Waiver will be signed at packet pick-up. All entrants/competitors
will be required to sign USAT waiver and pick up their own
packet. No one will be permitted to collect another entrant's
packet. NO Race day Packet Pick-up. Picture ID required. |
