About This Event: The BEST USAT Sanctioned
Half/Aquabike in Texas! This
is the6th Year for the PrairieMan 1/2 Iron Distance Triathlon
& PrairieMan Aquabike. This 1.2 mile swim-56 mile bike-13.1
mile run Tri takes place at Joe Pool Lake in Grand Prairie.
Swim is in clean Joe Pool Lake. The 4 loop Bike course takes
place on flat, fast Lake Ridge Parkway & HWY 360 south. The
run is totally within the park and is an out and back. Race
info: www.ironheadrp.com. USA Triathlon sanctioned. Refunds:
50 percent thru June 30 & 25 percent thru Aug 10. NO REFUNDS
after Aug 10. Absolutely NO TRANSFERS or ROLLOVERS. Limited
to 800 entrants. Confirmation/race info via e-mail.
PrairieMan: Now 3 Races! Half Iron, Aquabike & Sprint Tri!
The bike & run are mostly flat. The swim is a
single triangular loop. There is an 8 hour time limit for all
competitors with a 7:15 AM start time. All athletes MUST be
off the course by 3:30 PM. Bike course closes @ 1PM. No exceptions!
4 wave swim start. All Half Iron & Aquabike finishers receive
a distinctive finishers shirt. For those looking for a shorter
event: PrairieMan Sprint Tri with a 500 meter swim-27 Km bike-5km
run, flat and fast! Sprint goes off at 7 AM! All competitors
receive a distinctive Brooks Classic Running Cap.
Waiver and Release
USAT Waiver will be signed at packet pick-up. All entrants/competitors
will be required to sign USAT waiver and pick up their own
packet. No one will be permitted to collect another entrant's
packet. NO Race day Packet Pick-up. Picture ID required. I
understand there is NO race day packet pick up.
